I must confess that the title is taken from a book. I wonder how many of you notice all the times you receive a message from the universe that is there to help you. Are you paying attention? It does take practice and being present, It could be a book title that you all of a sudden notice or a song that gives you an answer to what you are currently wondering about or it could even be part of a conversation that you overhear that gives you the answer.
It may be the time that your car doesn’t start right away making you leave a little later than you wanted to or you forget something and have to go back inside. Instead of leaving immediately stop for a moment and take a breath an extra pause, instead of getting upset. it could be the universe is keeping you from an accident or allowing you to meet someone you wouldn’t have if you left earlier.
I had a friend that wanted to sell their house and buy a travel trailer to travel the county. Nothing was working out, the carpet they ordered came in wrong and the paint was the wrong color. I talked to her and told her that maybe the reason was because this wasn’t the right time, her reply was, if something like this happens I just push through it. Well the house sold, the trailer was purchased but the vehicle they brought wasn’t really able to pull the weight. They just weren’t paying attention.
I can think of numerous times in my life that this has happened. Most recently I had two calls this week from new website providers. That was my clue that I needed to pay attention it was time to do something. My website wouldn’t come up today and my webmaster while he fixed it quickly advised me that he was going to retire. OK, so now I look for a new person.
In June I started thinking and looking at new cars. My Mercury was obsolete and parts aren’t readily available and it was 18 years old plus it had issues. I had decided on a Ford Escape as it is the same size as my Mercury. After doing my research and decideing on what I wanted guess what there were none available except with the wrong engine. I could have checked in Spokane or Montana or settled for the engine that was available but I took this as a sign from the universe. (Now stop and think what would you have done?)
What I did was wait for the sign from the universe and it came the next day. As I was driving into work there at the Ford dealer facing me was a metallic white 2026 Ford Explorer and I knew that was my answer. Of course, now all I had to do was research the engine and drive train but that was easy. And yes, I do have the new car.
My point to all of this is be present and pay attention the universe will give you the answer. All you have to do is pay attention. Take an extra breath and stop pushing. The answer will be there for you.
